A Run-In with The Pleasureman

Firstly, let me apologize for not yet completing my review of Haunted; I know you're all waiting with bated breath, and I swear, as soon as I'm done doing all the writing that I, you know, need to do for classes, I'll go back and finish and update more regularly.

That aside, I had a phenomenal exchange with Princeton's one and only Rock major, Kevin Smith, that I felt I must share with my reading public.

For those of you who don't know who Günther is, you should check out his website, Günthernet, and check out the "Ding Dong Song" video, and I think you'll find him becoming frighteningly familiar. (Speaking of frightening, I can't believe I just gave that site a free plug; what the hell is happening to me?)

Long story short, Günther was the main act hired by Tower for their big lawnparty this weekend. I will now recount, with no editing save for the omission of screen names, the instant message confessions of one incredibly devoted (or psychotic, you decide) fan...

Kevin: guess who just met the pleasureman. thats right, THIS GUY.
Dave:
Kevin Smith, you are WAY too exciting about having met Gunther
Kevin: no, no i'm not
Dave: but if you have pictures, i should like to see them
Kevin: you have no idea
Kevin: because THIS GUY made up a FAKE press pass, and scored himself an INTERVIEW with gunther ON VIDEO
Kevin: that's right, homie
Dave: holy
Dave: fucking
Dave: shit
Dave: you're rigoddamndiculous
Dave: when can i see it?
Kevin: i didn't just meet him... i shook his hand, chatted up the sunshine girls, and conducted an interview
Kevin: as soon as my friend alex puts it on his computer
Dave: but here's the big question
Dave: did he touch your tra la la?
Kevin: my ding ding dong?
Dave: your ding ding dong, so to speak
Dave: is that a yes or a no?
Kevin: he may or may not have
Dave: i guess i'll have to see the video to find out?
Kevin: yes
Kevin: so, you'll agree that i am appropriately excited about meeting gunther
Dave: that is pretty exciting
Dave: although the effort you put into this is, and i'm not gonna lie to you, kinda freakish
